Ever since the recent prostitution scandal that changed the hierarchy of New York state government, many have wondered why a man like Eliot Spitzer, who had everything, would want to pick up the phone and reach out and touch someone? It might all go back to the early 80’s? That is when the block-buster movie E.T. came out. The insistent alien kept telling Eliot to phone someone.
Something in that movie must have turned on Eliot Spitzer’s heart-light? Was it when E.T. dressed like a prostitute?
Or when the alien wooed Eliot with sweets?
Whatever it was, it sent the former Governor over the moon!
