You can say that the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, Barney Frank, has more in common with Elmer Fudd, than just a large noggin. The current mortgage crisis has slipped through Frank’s hands like a waskly wabbit!
Barney told the NY Times in 03′
”These two entities — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — are not facing any kind of financial crisis. The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.”
