Zac Efron may soon be singing ‘A Pirates Life For Me’, – not in another installment of High School Musical, but in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film.

 You may have already heard the rumor about Johnny Depp reprising his role as Capt. Jack Sparrow, and with the final HSM wrapped, Disney is hoping for a huge haul at the box office with the pairing of Depp and Efron.

If Johnny based Jack Sparrow on Keith Richards, would Zac find inspiration in Amy Winehouse?

I’m surprised Disney hasn’t tried to throw Vanessa Hudgens into the mix as Efron’s love intrest? I can already see it: High School Musical 4: Pirate Year.  Talk about a box office smash!

I really don’t mind if Zac is in the next ‘Pirates’, just as long as they don’t add him into the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ ride! That’s like adding Eddie Murphy into the ‘Haunted Mansion’ ride. Scary!
