“I’m not that innocent!”

Britney Spears almost pulled a Madonna! No, not the pop-star, the other Madonna. Britney was was offered the role of the Virgin Mary in the comedy Sweet Baby Jesus.

The films producer reveals how close Brit was to being a virgin again,

“Britney read the script and liked it. She really wanted to play the role of Mary. But people were against it and she was pressured. Then she ran into trouble with her family so we decided the timing wasn’t right.”

Thankfully she turned down the role and returned to the scantly-clad Womanizer we all love!
