Drew Barrymore Hates Modern Technology

Drew Barrymore shot to fame in the early 80′s and prefers to live in an analog world. Drew loathes modern technology and when it comes to TVs, Drew’s choice is her “big, tube television” over digital any day.

I hate flat-screens. I love VHS. I will not have a television if it doesn’t have a VHS player. I’m like, ‘High-def what?’ I don’t want any of that. I like grain.

She must be loving life today with the announcement that Televisions switch to digital will be delayed!

It sounds like modern technology peeked for Drew at E.T.‘s glowing finger? No wonder Drew was so great in Ever After; the most advanced technology was a horse-drawn carriage!

I still shoot only on film. I have no digital cameras. Film, film, film. I shot my film that I directed (an upcoming movie titled Whip It!) on a format that doesn’t even exist any more, we had to go and find it.

Drew Barrymore and ‘Mac Guy’ boyfriend Justin Long have split up according to Drew’s reps.

After 11 months together, the once solid looking relationship had become as flimsy as a Macbook Air!

The pair will soon appear on screen in the film ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’, maybe in the end, they just weren’t that into each other?

I wonder if Drew broke-up with him via text message? I’m sure somewhere out there, the old PC guy is laughing!

I hope Drew and Justin only remember the good times together, and the past eleven months don’t end up on their list of 50 worst dates!
