If box office predictions are true, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas may want to rename the latest Indy adventure – ‘the Kingdom with Cristal all around!’, Early predictions are saying that ‘Indy’ may swipe upwards of $150 Million in its first 4 days! That’s alot of booty. And, if it doesn’t do as well as expected, the Cristal can wash their doom away.
The film franchises devoted fan base are hoping that the new film will shed more light on the man and myth of Indian Jones, and answer nagging questions, such as: ‘Is Mutt Williams(Shia Labeouf) the product of an ill conceived one-night-stand with Marion Ravenwood?
That and more burning questions about the cave-robbing archioligist will be answered Thursday night!
Early reviews are starting to trickle in for Indian Jones: and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls. Of the 4 reviews so far online, two are very negative, one is mediocre(“third best in the series”) and one is very positive. Will the new film shimmer with eternal life like ‘The Last Crusade’, or rip our hearts out like ‘Temple of Doom’? Either way I will, of course, still be in attendance opening night!
