The economic downturn has not affected Johnny Depp. Depp was in Chicago this week for the premier of his new film, Public Enemies. While in the ‘windy city’, Depp ate at Gibsons Steak House, and left the waiter a $4,000 dollar tip!

Apparently Johnny doesn’t know that 15-20% is a standard amount to tip? Maybe someone should get him a tip-app for his phone?

But, seriously, this just shows how generous Johnny is! The happy waiter who received the tip told Radaronline,

“He may be one of the most famous actors in the world but he is a very ‘humble guy’ and a really cool dude.   Obviously, I was delighted with his tip but he has always been very generous every time that he has visited us here at Gibsons.”

I guess when you command $15 Million + per film; $4,000 dollars is spare change!?!
