Plastic Man’s Bogus Journey

With the Dark Knight flying into theatres this week, rumors are now swirling that Keanu Reeves has been cast as the title character in Plastic Man. Keanu, who’s known more for his wooden and stiff acting; Plastic Man seems like a huge stretch.
Not all of his performances have been bad. I enjoyed him in The Lake House. He had great chemistry with that mailbox; not so much with Sandy Bullock.
But Keanu as the silly, stretchy Plastic Man is about as believable as Emmanuel Lewis staring in a Wilt Chamberlain biopic!
The film is supposedly by the Wachowski brothers who last film Speed Racer crashed at the box office. They must hope Plastic Man will get their career back in shape.
Look for Plastic Man to hit theatres in the future, if ply-able!
