Is the worldwide economic downturn starting to affect Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes? Cruise, who usually pilots his own Gulfstream jet, flew commercial to Japan with his wife and baby Suri in tow.
What at first glance may look like TomKat pinching pennies, may actually be a savvy PR move? Tom’s still trying to rehab his image and flying commercial – first class mind you, gives Cruise an ‘everyman’ feel.
I’m sure seeing an unknown pilot like Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger go from obscurity to hero status was too much for the former Top Gun!
After they landed, the celebrity couple were mobbed by fans, took pictures, and signed autographs. But one question is still bothering me: How did they get Suri past the metal detector?
